Service Description
Our Yin classes will focus on holding poses for extended periods, typically several minutes, to stimulate the deep connective tissues and improve your flexibility. A typical class will consist of 8 - 12 poses, each held for 2 - 5 minutes. Yin is a meditative practice that encourages a passive approach to stretching, with muscles relaxed and allowing you to focus on the body's subtle sensations. Props are provided and will often be used throughout the postures. Modifications welcome and encouraged.
